Pure Power Line Construction is a locally owned line contractor serving North Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. Day-to-day work means poles, conductors, equipment, and coordination with utilities and property owners—not an office-first culture.
What the job asks of you
Crews work outdoors in changing conditions, follow job-site briefings, and keep communication clear when plans shift. Travel within the region, early starts, and physical work are normal parts of utility construction—not exceptions.
We look for people who show up prepared, respect the craft, and treat every energized or near-energized environment with care.

Line construction carries real hazard. Our expectation is simple: stop when something is unclear, use the right PPE and methods for the task, and keep the crew aligned before the next step.

What field work actually looks like
This is utility construction—not a climate-controlled shop. Expect uneven ground, weather, noise, and coordination with other trades and landowners.
Equipment & logistics
Bucket trucks, diggers, and material staging require careful setup. Housekeeping and equipment checks are part of the day’s work—not add-ons.
Partner & property sites
Utility partners and private property owners both expect professionalism: clean work areas, clear communication, and respect for access rules.
Storm & urgency days
Outages and urgent repairs can change schedules quickly. Safe restoration still comes before speed.

Hands-on construction and maintenance support under experienced direction. Physical fitness, attention to detail, and willingness to learn matter as much as prior hours.

Equipment operation
Safe operation of line construction equipment when qualified for the task and site conditions. Credentials and experience vary by role and will be stated on any posting.

Apprentice / entry pathways
When available, entry roles emphasize coaching, PPE discipline, and learning the job the right way from the first day.
